A Mini Session is a shorter version of a custom session usually with a theme. It gives our new clients a chance to try out our photography service. It is also a quick and easy way to get an updated image of you and your beloved ones without planning for a big session.

You will have to provide us the date and time you would like to book, and if it is still available, to secure your spot, you will be required to send us a deposit by etransfer to our email address: wbphoto.payment@gmail.com

There is not really a set guideline, but normally mini sessions run fast, and so does your prefered date & time, so if you are interested, please secure your spot ASAP.

The stated date and time has been reserved for your photography session. Please understand you are reserving this particular time slot, not any particular length of time. It is the client’s responsibility to be on time, and ready to go at the beginning of the photo session. Your time begins at the time in which you are scheduled, not when you actually arrive.

Another note is, mini session time frames are typically 30 minutes only. They are quick sessions, booked back to back, so please be on time, or call if you are going to be late, so that I can try to accomodate other clients and keep on time.

We recommend you to come at least 15 minutes in advance and keep us update 30 minutes before you arrive.

Please note that a mini session only lasts for 20-30 minutes, and the time will run much quicker than you think, especially when you have kids. So a perfect number of people is from 2-4.

Also, just some advice for kids, sometimes it’s great when a grandmom or aunt can come help get a little one to smile, etc, but if there are too many people trying to get baby to smile, they will frequently zone out and get overwhelmed. We will start by trying our best to get natural interactions with your little ones, and ask for help if needed! If too many people are off to the side trying to get baby to smile, your child will not be looking at the camera in any of the photos. We will work together to get that eye contact.

It's great if you can bring along some of your child's favourite toys, games, balls, kites, bubbles – anything that you enjoy doing together as a family. Snacks are also a good idea to boost your child's energy levels.

The absolute most important thing is that you are comfortable. So do wear what you feel good in, as that will usually show through in the photos.

Clothes with texture and colour are great – think about what would look interesting, and try to co-ordinate styles a bit if you’re doing a couple or family shoot. (You don’t have to wear the same colours, but co-ordinate outfits that compliment each other.)

Important Note: For outdoor mini sessions, consider the weather during your shoot date, and make sure you’ll be warm/cool enough in whatever you wear!

Parents/ Guardians will be responsible for the actions of their children at all times. Woollybirds Photography and its photographer cannot be held liable for accidents that occur as a result of the parent or guardian not watching their child. In the case of newborns and small children, the parent(s) are many times asked to help be spotters, and need to be within reach of the child AT ALL TIMES to prevent falling, or any accident of any kind.

Please, if your child is honestly sick, We will try to be as flexible as we can. We would rather your child be ready for photos and be happy, then you bring them covered in snot, feverish, or unhappy and not wanting to do photos. That would make for an unsatisfactory shoot for you as well, and we want the session to be perfect for you! Only some mini sessions can be rescheduled though, so contact us for more information if this occurs. Otherwise, mini sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

If the Client cancels or changes the appointment, the deposit is nonrefundable and/or nontransferable. In certain cases, and at Woollybirds Photography’s discretion, the date or time of the session may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as bad weather for outdoor shoots. The final decision to change and or reschedule any session date or time will be made at the sole discretion of Wollybirds Photography, and we are not obligated to transfer or reschedule.

If outside sessions are cancelled due to weather, no refunds are provided. However, a new date/time will be provided or a coupon with equal value can also be issued.

If we cannot perform their duties the day of the session, for any reason, we will either refund the session fee deposit, or reschedule another date that works for both parties.

Mini sessions are normally delivered within 2 weeks.

All photos selected will be professionally selected, retouched, colour corrected and of the highest quality.
